Over 16 million people live more than a kilometer away from their nearest 24/7 accessible defibrillator, highlighting issues of accessibility and inequality.

The data shows significant disparities in access to these lifesaving devices. Some areas have nearly three quarters of residents living over 10 minutes' round trip from a defibrillator.
